Individual Therapy

At Compass Counseling Services, we offer one-on-one individual therapy. That means that you and your therapist will meet via telehealth video through an encrypted platform called “TherapyNotes”. Through this platform, we will come to a mutual understanding of what you are expecting from therapy, the things you would like to work on in therapy, and the goals you would like to meet. We will decide together how often we will meet, whether that be weekly, every 2 weeks, or even monthly.

My style of working with individuals is catered to the client. I use different types of theoretical models dependent upon what the client’s goals are and what I feel would work best for them. Every individual has a different idea of what they would like to accomplish in therapy, and so I will work with you to determine your needs. Whether you’re looking for a safe place to discuss your thoughts and emotions, looking to understand yourself more fully, or are just looking for mental health maintenance, I am fully committed to supporting you on your path to growth and/or healing.
